The Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA). It is the organization responsible for managing the borders of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Part of this responsibility includes processing Visas and Visas that grant travelers access to the Kingdom of Bahrain. If you wish to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain, and do not qualify for a Visa without a guarantor, then a Visa can be obtained through a local company or an organization or a citizen in the Kingdom of Bahrain that can act as a guarantor.

Payments are processed via a credit card transaction through the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) Internet payment gateway. BBK is a leader in the provision of online payment services and provides a secure method for authorizing credit card transactions over the Internet.

A notification will be sent to your email and it will specify who to contact (either NPRA or the embassy) in the case that your application was not approved.
The processing fee will not be refunded if the application was not approved.
If you lose your application Reference Number and cannot check the status of your application through this site, please Contact NPRA and provide your name, nationality and passport number. Please note that you should send the details using the same email which was used when applying for Visa.

Yes, you can extend your Visa once you are in Bahrain by visiting NPRA main office (Manama, Exhibitions Avenue, Building One, on the ground floor) or Muharraq at The MOI service center (Building: 378 Sheikh Hamad Street Complex 211) and paying an extension fee. Link to map.
Simply click on "Check your Visa", fill the required information then print out your Visa.
Note: There will be no Visa stamped in your passport prior to your arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Also, please ensure to use the same passport for entry as you used to apply for the Visa online.
In case that your stay in the airport will not exceed 8 hours, then you do not need a Visa and you should not leave the airport. However, if 8 hours are exceeds than a Visa could be granted.
Please check the eligibility on the Visa homepage, fill in the required information and see if you qualify to get a Visa on arrival. Kindly note that entry is not guaranteed into the Kingdom of Bahrain. The traveler must meet all the conditions on arrival to be granted the entry, at the discretion of an Immigration Officer.
Processing applications will take approximately 3-5 working days. We will advise you by email when a decision has been made. Please note that there will be exceptional cases that might take longer than previously stated.

Please send a Visa cancelation request using your registered email and include your Visa reference number and you will receive a notification once your Visa has been canceled.
